Wring It Dry.

I had a day recently.

You know… a “day.”

The kind where you tumble down the stairs- literally or metaphorically- looking up at God and asking:

“WHY THIS? AND WAIT A MINUTE- THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO GO THIS WAY!”

…and you just keep going down that spiral staircase.

(Check out this week’s podcast episode too- I share a funny story about me “running down the stairs” on a topic at a young age. My poor father…)

As I sat in prayer on this particular day and, frankly, laid it all out before God, I of course was humbled in every appropriate way.

With every question came this divine, bodily wisdom- the only way I can describe it. It revealed to me:

  • a) why things unfolded the way they did (and I’m talking 1+1=2 type of humbling wisdom), and

  • b) the deep, inner knowing that it all had to happen this way, because of this.

And that brought me to my grounding phrase:

All is well.

I felt it. I knew all was well, it would BE well, and that God had THE plan. But it was kind of a...

“Good news is, God’s got this. Bad news is, I’m pissed.” kind of day.

We all have them.

Are there reasons behind things? Yes.

Can we know this and STILL have ourselves a day? Bigger yes.

We're human. We tumble, we doubt, we feel all the things-

And yet, somehow...

We dust ourselves off and get back up. I’ve never met someone who hasn’t.

Whether it was a small, embarrassing moment in school growing up or something deeply traumatic, we’ve all had to pick ourselves up after the storm and step forward.

So naturally, in the middle of my own spiral- the kind I often coach you out of (I’m human too)- I started thinking about my why.

More specifically (and if you’ve worked with me, this might sound familiar), I had to ask myself:

What is my metric of success for all of this?

Do we ever stop to truly consider that?

What IS our metric of success- and why?

What I realized- or rather, was reminded of- I hope will bring some clarity to you today:

My metric of success is to ensure that I wring it dry in this lifetime.

Meaning: I want nothing left on the table.

I want to be able to say I did everything I could (within reason), gave it my full heart and soul, and let the fire God placed within me carry me.

I believe the gifts we’re given are meant to be used.

How they’re used? That’s personal.

I’m not someone who believes everyone needs to start a business- not at all.

I am someone who believes you should follow the golden nuggets God has laid before you, discover your strengths and talents, and use them to the best of your ability.

But what I will not do is take fear as gospel- for myself, or for you.

Absolutely not.

You deserve more than that, and you CAN achieve lofty goals. Your will, resilience and problem solving abilities just need to be strong enough, and they can be developed if you allow them to be.

No matter what your circumstances may look or feel like, use beautifully what you’ve been given.

That’s part of my work: helping you identify what your “secret sauce” is, and guiding you to live in it more and more every day.

And amid the chaos of life (because it never goes as planned), you’ll know that you gave it your all. You used what you were given. And in turn, you helped others along the way.

So-

Wring it dry.

Whatever that means to you- and enjoy every moment of it. Tell someone you love them, go spend time with a friend you haven't spoken to in a bit, and don't let fear cloud any part of what you deem to be your potential in this lifetime.

Coming up in my community, The Gathering, we’re starting a 90-day challenge to help facilitate this.

I want 2026 to be different for you. Genuinely. A year of yes, and a year of bold action because you get to.

When I reflected on how I wanted us to end the year, I knew I wanted it to feel like an activation- an invitation to step into your next chapter.

So we’re doing what I often do in my programs:

We’re starting at the foundation.

  • October is for MINDSET – a full overhaul.

  • November is for RELEASING – tackling fear, self-doubt, and imposter syndrome.

  • December is for ACTIVATION – stepping boldly into what’s next.

I’m unbelievably grateful to host this within our community, and I’d love to invite you in.

The commitment is simple:

  • Join our community

  • Attend (or watch the replays of) two meetings per month

  • Download your monthly workbook

  • And enjoy the beautiful unfolding

CHALLENGE yourself to take bold action. Do something different.

More importantly, I challenge you to join today. We often sit on things longer than we need to- even when we know they’ll help.

Join, then pop over to the Classroom section, choose a webinar to watch, and enjoy.

Dedicate an evening this week to you. Let it be an oasis- a time of renewal.

Change begins when you decide it does, and perhaps this is your opportunity to decide just that.
