The Power of Suddenly: How God Can Change Everything in an Instant

I was sitting at my computer the other day, getting a few things done work-wise-setting up for the week, client emails (more on that down below), etc.

Truthfully, I actually can’t remember the thought that prompted it, but I just started speaking out loud-

“Do not forget the power of ‘and suddenly.’”

Well, knowing me and how I deliver these messages, I grabbed my phone and made the spontaneous video that’s been making its rounds online this weekend.

As a coach, we work towards things in a structured manner- diving into the depths of our belief systems, habits, and goals. However…

What I often share with people- and actually, the cornerstone of this work- is that…

God has the power to move at any time.

Meaning, literally…

ANYTHING can change.

We often assume the climb out of the hole must be as laborious as it felt being in the hole, huh?

It’s that old story I share on fear.

Our paths are carved before us beautifully, only for that fearful voice in the corner to slowly drift us off of it.

The funny part is- it’s never enough.

Once you land in your new “safe” zone, the fear creeps in AGAIN.

“Nope, no longer safe here- come over here.”

You would assume there was a final point, right?

The fear shrinks you beyond belief. Before you know it, you appear to be miles off of the walking path you assumed you had to be on.

Using (understandably) your human logic, we go:

How on EARTH can I return to that path?

You just watch God move.

This doesn’t mean you don’t.

I live by this quote:

When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

I mean that for every season. It may not even be a teacher, but rather a friend- someone to hold your hand through the fire.

Help is always on the way.

I want to challenge you this week to embody your “and suddenly” era.

Take a few moments this week, and sit and track the moments where God showed up suddenly.

The email you were waiting for, the person who popped into your life at the perfect time, the job opportunity-

List it.

Then SIT WITH THAT.

FEEL that.

That is the power of what God can do!

Never lose hope, for there is always a new beginning at hand.

All is well.

SPECIAL NOTE: Coming up on OCTOBER 6TH, we are beginning a 90-day challenge in our community, The Gathering, to ready us for the coming year. Join us for our bi-monthly calls, workbooks to match, and community support as we blaze into your beautiful goals. What is being invited into your life?

Change can happen, and perhaps the time has arrived.

Stay tuned!

It Is Well.

Ah, yes. Take a sigh of relief as you read that. It is, isn’t it? I made a video yesterday discussing this specifically. I mentioned in the video how, prior to watching this, perhaps you were spiralin
