A Purpose Yet To Be Fulfilled.

I was sitting (well… lying, I guess) in bed the other night, just thinking.

I often have my quiet time with God in the evenings, when the sun is down and everything in the house is off.

I sit on the side of my bed and just begin speaking.

It's humbling, actually.

And just a side note—for anyone aiming to deepen or begin their prayer life, I encourage this.

It’s often a “What do I say?”

When in reality, it’s simply about opening the door.

You may not know what to say. Start with that.

As I sat there, I started thinking about this creation.

Each of us—and the things we have to offer this world.

But first, I was pondering nature. I reflected on how everything in nature serves an ultimate purpose.

Whether it’s to give life or fuel life, its job isn’t simply to exist—it also enhances and contributes to creation.

And so, I began thinking about each of us.

What a gift it is to still be here. And more so, what a gift it is to have another opportunity ahead.

If you think about it, that’s what it comes down to—

Another opportunity.

In other words:

The work is not over yet.

If you're here reading this, the ultimate purpose has yet to be fulfilled.

Now, I know we often hear those words and panic—

"WHAT IS MY PURPOSE?"

Well, hold on…

It’s within you. Not in a self-centered way, but you are the vessel. Give it time. Consider the directions you have been NUDGED. It is ALWAYS a whisper before it's a boulder.

And frankly, how presumptuous of us to assume that we can and should wait around.

Every day, you have an opportunity to change someone’s life—either in a small or big way.

Every day, you have an opportunity to live boldly within the gifts God has given you- to refine them and USE them.

You serve an ultimate purpose. I’d even argue—many purposes.

You'll find out what they are, but you must begin to walk first.

Follow the breadcrumbs- they'll lead you.

This world is cold and dark. But you are a light.

Shine it. And shine it boldly.
